MID-RANGE MATCH
July 10th and 11th 2010

RIFLES- Any safe original or reproduction long range muzzleloader or BPCR. All rifles must meet the following criteria for pit safety, a chronograph will be provided please arrive early if you need to use it:
40 CAL, 400 GRAIN BULLET WITH MIN 1280 FT/SEC MUZZLE VELOCITY.
45 CAL, 450 GRAIN BULLET WITH MIN 1220 FT/SEC MUZZLE VELOCITY.
50 CAL, 500 GRAIN BULLET WITH MIN 1210 FT/SEC MUZZLE VELOCITY.
BULLETS- Lead, either GG or PP no gas checks
SIGHTS- Original type vernier rear and aperture front. Hadley eyecups and scope class-original style ¾” scope and mounts ok.
PROPELLANT- Black powder or pyrodex only, no smokeless in any amount.
COURSE OF FIRE-
200-300yrds- 2 relays at each range, 10 shots for score, unlimited sighters, 45 minute relays.
600yrds- 2 scoring relays, 10 shots for score, unlimited sighters, 45 minute relays.
SATURDAY–Check in and squading at 8:00, firing at 9:00 on 200 yrd range.
SUNDAY- arrive by 8:00 and firing at 9:00 on 600yrd range.
RULES- safe conduct will be observed at all times, unsafe activity will not be tolerated and the offending person or persons will be asked to leave. Shooting posistions are either sitting or prone, wrist rests, slings, and cross sticks are allowed. This is not an NRA match so no records may be set.
CAMPING- Participants may camp at the range for free, however, no services are provided. There is also a KOA campground about 2 miles from the range on Andalusia rd. E towards Milan.
FEES- Match fee $35.00 for both days, or $20.00 for either day. Please make the check out to Milan Rifle Club.

If you plan on attending please contact the match co-coordinator by either phone or email on or before July 5th.
We cannot guarantee squadding however all attempts will be made to satisfy requests.
