Hi Lee,
I have no proof that one is better than the other, however I will give some thought on the subject. I like the .060, I believe that the thicker the material, the more it will expand and seal gases. Also, if you have any defects in the base of your bullet, it allows the bullet to exite the muzzle before any gases can escape unevenly around the base.
