Match Idea?

What do you think of this?
Paper match shot under original Creedmore rules (more or less)
15 rounds per target, No artificial supports, timed per target(35 minutes?), no spotters.
Targets to be placed
1, something 300 or less shot offhand only
2. any position 500 yds
3 any position 650 yds
4 any position 800 yds
5 any position 900 yds
6 any position 1000yds.

Would skip the original rules as to rifle weight and trigger pull, and would allow set triggers.
So as to make it just a tad easier to put on. There would be no pits. Targets to be mounted on a simple frame , Steel posts holding up pallets, covered with 7/16 OSB for a 4' high x 8 ft long target back .
Shooters would be allowed spotters to call lo/high left/right misses, but no wind or mirage coaching, and spotters must be seated far enough from shooters to disallow any physical contact during the match.
Shooters to the line time starts , you have 35 minutes to put 15 rounds on target.

Thanks Harlan thinking maybe possible have it here at the ranch the week preceding your shoot? Would really appreciate your guidance and counsel on the dates and timing. But August seems to be about the best for me.

Don: If it's sometime close to either side of Alliance I'd be glad to come out early and give you a hand setting up. CM

Charlie I need to figure out for sure the Raton dates and when Jim Terry is having his match, don't want to compete with another one, simply offer one more chance to shoot without having to go to MT...
Thinking the weekend before Harlans, and you and that child bride of yours would be welcome to set up camp here if you want.

Don
I would be happy to give you a hand with setting it up. The weekend after my match is usually Labor Day weekend and its hard to get folks to change from what they traditionally do then. We have our muzzleloader clubs fall rendezvous on Labor day weekend. Now there's something for you to do, come shoot front stuffers at Bridgeport.
August or first part of Sept would be good dates.

Harlan if I can ever figure out what cubby hole my possibles got stuffed into I'ld really like to come down and hurl some roundballs with you guys.
I'm thinking the weekend before your shoot may work about as good as any.
I may give you a call sometime next week, to visit and pick your brai on this a tad more.
