Who shoots 22 and what rifle and ammo do you use?
I shoot a recent manufacture Winchester lowall, and while it shoots most ammo real well, I like the Aquila Rifle Match load.
What say you?

I am looking for a single shot .22 for the popular and growing .22 matches. I would even like to find an action that I can build a rifle from.

Harlan I don't know if its still there or not but Western Trail in the bluffs had a browning lowall on consignment awhile back. Price was more than reasonable...
I've got a good line on the steel , have some buffalo templates made, possible mini buffalo shoot here at Hell's Gap coming soon......

I picked up a used win .22 low wall. It's one of the Imports and I put a MVA tang sight on it and a front globe.
That rifle shoots so good that nothing needs to be done to it.

I see C Sharps is offering the 75 in 22 now. That would be a good one altho maybe a bit heavy..

Might be worth a stop there Harlan. Last time I was in he had a couple of the Uberti rollers in 22 on the rack also.

Now, I stop here and see more folks I know! Great.
My winter project is NOT going to be another trapdoor. Got enough of them to last a lifetime. What I have going now is a .22 low wall original barrel and action. My friend Fred Wenig supplied the wood and I'll stuff a (secret) liner in the worn out barrel.
I asked a question on the BPCR forum here and I pose the same question: Just how far apart go the mounts?

Any one going to shoot .22 at Sagebrush? If we shoot the same targets we shot inthe spring it will be a hoot!
